We just arrived in Roseau, Dominica and do not have to tender in. The island is mountainous and verdant. There are beautiful rainforests.
This place is beautiful. Paul Allen has his yacht here (Octopus) and it is 410 feet long with a 60 ft. tender, submarine for 8 people, docks for wave runners and 2 helicopters. It is unreal. St. Barths so far is the prettiest of the islands, French speaking, lots of $. It seems like the Riviera. The water again is warm and such a wonderful colour. Everything is pristine. We will be back here Jan. 10 and will rent a car then. Can’t believe it will be 2006!
Hello from Virgin Gorda, It was just gorgeous. We went to the pools in Virgin Gorda today and hiked through the rocks, down ladders and ropes to get to what is called Devil’s Beach.
We are in Romano in the Dominican Republic and just got back from the most beautiful beach where we swam and had lunch. The ship is magnificent and decorated to the hilt for Christmas. We love this ship and the guests are great and we are getting to know some interesting people. Our revenue is high and the classes well attended. Love to you all and Happy Holiday!!! This is us with our techy guy, Mel John. He is really competent and very nice. I’ll write soon. Just going to see the festival of lights and a champagne reception.
